American Airlines is a US airline and has Dallas/Forth Worth International Airport as its largest hub. American Airlines also owns American Eagle, which operates mostly regional flights. American Airlines is in the process of merging with US Airways. This merger is expected to close in the third quarter of 2013.

Have to admit I was duped. Should have never paid extra for the @AmericanAir Executive credit card. The benefits are terrible. For ex. My wife and I are booked on same flight, her seating chart shows most of the plane empty, mine shows only middle seats.

@thepointsguy One great example is @AmericanAir operates flights to LHR with departing connections the take off before their baggage handlers even arrive at LHR which means they sell tickets knowing their passagers’ bags will not be moved to the connecting flight

Has anyone else had repeat flights with completely collapsed cushions? A couple of months ago, I suffered sitting on a metal rod because a @JetBlue fusion was completely flat. Today, @AmericanAir, same issue. Five hours sitting with plastic poking through. Do better.

@iflymia @AmericanAir Absolutely the worst run immigration in the country hands down. If you don't have 4 hours between connections you will miss it. I missed my last two. Employees shouting at each other, passengers shouting at employees..needs a complete makeover

@AmericanAir what gives? Flew to Rome yesterday. Paid for extra legroom and arrived in Charlotte to find changed seats, downgraded with no comms. Paid for extra legroom because I had sutures removed yesterday morning.
