American Airlines Problems in Miami
American Airlines is a US airline and has Dallas/Forth Worth International Airport as its largest hub. American Airlines also owns American Eagle, which operates mostly regional flights. American Airlines is in the process of merging with US Airways. This merger is expected to close in the third quarter of 2013.

There’s so many people trapped in the airport because of American Airlines are cancelling so many flights out Miami. I’ve never seen anything like this. The line to rebook goes down the entire terminal. You can’t speak to anyone on the phone either. It’s insanity. @AmericanAir

@AmericanAir please get me off this plane…long flight with air that isn’t working, people coughing on me, and lady next to me taking up half my seat. Now sitting on the tarmac because we don’t have an open gate in Miami. I have a connection and want to go home!!! Flight 2284.

@AmericanAir BTW, I’m angry but I posted this at the request of a AA gate agent who said she has this happen over and over since 3/1 and she’s the one that has to hears the complaints. Thats the good, AA gate agent is an angel. I’m fine. Just please straighten this mess up

@JTGenter @AmericanAir You are correct. They will do precisely as little as possible to maintain their position as the worst of the Big 3 US airlines. And just a couple of decades ago they were the gold standard in the US.
