@waitrose Intent or not, it is the consequence of poor stocking. I could give you a list of numerous items that I purchased from Waitrose, and no longer do due to stocking issues, and have spoken with numerous partners about these. Finding the same items in more reliable sources...

@traz_mac @waitrose Whoever selected short dated goods for the delivery should be spoken to and worse if it's Waitrose policy not to check. Whatever way you look at it Waitrose messed up. Sorry this happened to your mum and at Christmas too.

@TracyGreaves24 @waitrose Also if people are ordering online there’s a high chance it’s because they’re unable to make it to the shops due to illness or disability- it’s very cheeky/thoughtless not to pick & pack food with decent dates. I was so annoyed. I’m going to remind her today to complain.
