Signal Problems
Signal is an encrypted communications application for Android and iOS. It uses the Internet to send one-to-one and group messages, which can include files, voice notes, images and videos, and make one-to-one voice and video calls. Signal uses standard cellular mobile numbers as identifiers, and uses end-to-end encryption to secure all communications to other Signal users.

For no good reason, my #Signal username was gone suddenly, with a strange error in log: Local username hash does not match server username hash. Local hash: present, Remote hash: empty It now marks the username and link as corrupted
When prompted to update Signal, I wondered whether I installed it from F-Droid or the Play Store. Found a quick way to check. Attempt to update via F-Droid first. If it's not on my list there'll be a message that no such app was found. @fdroidorg #PlayStore #android @signalapp
