Signal Android App Problems

@signalapp We're having issues registering an MTN line, using an android device (itel), on signal in Nigeria. No positive results after many trials. What could be the issue?

@GrapheneOS @signalapp Correction, it actually does seem to be a Graphene thing? I tried on several androids and had no issue. Most people reporting this are on Graphene.

@GrapheneOS @signalapp Oh if it’s for android in general then that’s worse. But the issue on GitHub and posts on Reddit is from a GOS users that’s why I assumed.

@signalapp Yet no instant screen timeout option on android like the iOS version of Signal. Moreover Signal desktop should have an option for setting password i.e. In-Built Applock.

@WhatsApp Why not use @signalapp right away? Also connects android and iOS, just with better privacy and blue bubbles.
