@cryptonator1337 @signalapp Technology is agnostic and things like encryption, have reasons for spies to fund even if it also makes it harder to do spying. Onion network? Developed by CIA. Open source doesn't require repeatable builds. It just means you need to build each version yourself.

@cryptonator1337 @signalapp Politics is different from tech. I understand being skeptical of the political ties. But that does not mean that the tech is not good, namely protect the data of your texts (not metadata though) Saying “not to signal” to chose a less secure app like telegram is not right
