Just received a letter (half a tree-worth of paper) from @santanderuk saying our house insurance has gone up by 50%.
FIFTY PERCENT!!!
Made no claims AND downsized to a smaller house last year. Hope there are plenty of operatives on the @santanderukhelp phone line this morning
@santanderukhelp hi, my partner got a notification telling her to go on to her app to authorise a payment however she hasn’t tried to purchase anything. She logged in nothing appears. Is there any reported errors about this? Thanks
@santanderukhelp I need bank statements from an old account, which was closed down maybe 2 or 3 years ago. Is this possible? If so, how do I go about it?
@santanderukhelp No letter no ability to contact anyone no ability to see messages in my account as its apparently got a tech error. Still on hold 18minutes I've been waiting I am at work and can to afford this time DISGUSTING
Any issues with @santanderukhelp? We were to to get mortgage review by email, it didn't arrive. I was to be sent it this am, didn't arrive. Chased it at lunchtime, got it and sat down to accept but it didn't recognise my details. We'll miss midnight deadline before rates go up.
@santanderukhelp I'd already tried switching between mobile data and wifi as well as rebooting the phone but neither worked and reinstalling the app hasn't either. The red triangle with an exclamation mark and "a" makes me think it's trying to report some sort of error...
@santanderukhelp He has called the bank multiple times to get money transferred to purchase a house. Hours and hours on phone with bank for past few weeks . No resolution. Will lose thousands of pounds if transfer not made by settlement date. He and my mother are breaking down over this. Help!!!
@santanderukhelp If market conditions dictate savings interest should go DOWN, the same market conditions can’t dictate that mortgage rates should go UP. They’re both based on your bank’s forecasting of the Bank of England’s rate. You either think the next moves will be up or down. Not both.
@santanderukhelp Hi, why has the interest rate gone down from 5.20% to 4.12% on my savings account? The base interest rate for the UK has not gone down, so why have you done this?
