This summer in Houston was complete trash. It's literally been raining for the past three days hurricanes and tornadoes power outage computer outage. I'm just so over it.
Not working a whole week due to the hurricane power outage and then having to get school supplies for the kids and planning links birthday party is wrecking me lol it’s all so expensive
@Kaffe_Takk@TiffanyDCross I had to drink my coffee black one day after the Hurricane Beryl power outage from hell, when I hadn't replaced the milk in my fridge yet. I drink Lavazza Gran Selezione, which is pretty smooth. But it still needs Truvia and whole milk for me.
@ColinAllredTX You could address some issues Texans around the Gulf Coast face. Imagine having some leadership to ensure monopolies like CenterPoint were prepared when extreme weather events happen. I expect power outages after a hurricane, but poor planning worsened things. #houstonstrong
Here in Houston, every time we have thunderstorm weather predictions we go into PTSD mode: power outages, no internet, flooding everywhere! & it's avoidable w proper infrastructure. Shyte govt here does NOTHING! SHYTEHOLE city.
I told y'all. I had a winter storm in Chicago that took me to -20. Went for days. People froze in their cars
But the power stayed on. I swear I never had an outage more than an hour or so
Has anyone compared power outages due to weather from other parts of the country to Houston? We have had plenty of massive wind storms this year, seems like we should easily be able to guage how bad Centerpont has failed in Houston compared to other areas.
@renoomokri As a matter of fact Houston has declared, the power situation as crisis. And the people of Houston are protesting now concerning the power outage. Try to always say things the way they are mr Reno Omokiri, stop being a hypocrite
