Dera @NammaBESCOM, kindly update people of Bangalore before you plan to cut power for more than 4-6 hours. No power in Malleshpalya since 9:30pm..at that time it rained for 30 mins & stopped. But people remain in the darkness anyway. 5 hours n counting. No outages no response

@Marcthe_Great The heat control is better, electric stoves get too hot and you can’t really control it. Easier to clean and plus they work still during power outages

@KiwiStreamNZ Yes we were told we shouldn’t have fires anymore use heat pumps, don’t use petrol cars get an electric car and it’s not even bloody winter yet and were threatened with power outages

@urbanicityHAM Originally Lime Ridge Mall had banks of payphones on the upper and lower levels. Also all mall entrances had at least one or two. Then the renovations in late 2010s saw most of the phones removed. Not everyone has a cellphone and power outages put digital phones offline.
