To answer my own question: Yes, I was finally able to set up contactless payments, again, on her Fitbit Versa 2 after the switch-over to Google Wallet from Fitbit Pay. Very pleased this was actually rectified. Bravo, Google. #Fitbit. #FitbitPay. #GoogleWallet.

@fitbit 2 Fitbit devices bricked since Monday. What's going on? Community forums show many people with the same problem (rapid discharge from 100% to dead in 4-5 hours). No response via chat other than non-sensical bot responses. We are 10+ year customers, please fix this. Now.

@fitbit Finally got rid of fitbit because they can't seem to get the charging to work correctly. Requires multiple attempts over and over again to get it to charge (I've had 3 models, same with all of them). Finally gave up and went to Samsung, much better functionality & charges

@fitbit had a charge 5 and first time I swim using it, breaks within 2 minutes. Out of warranty so all you can offer is 35% off when it says that they are waterproof. Absolute sham charging me when the product is faulty!
