Fantastic experience with @AmericanExpress customer support. I called to report what I thought was a fraud change (ended up being a subscription they helped me track down), I apologized and the rep said, “Don’t apologize; I had the experience of talking to a very nice person.”

Pretty disappointing that I tried online chat with @AmericanExpress like FOUR times, and each time they said they looked into it and I didn't fulfill the offer. I have email screenshots for 2 of the 3 purchases. And no, I won't be calling, because I have zero time for that.

I will no longer be doing any Google Pay offers on @AmericanExpress ... this is the 2nd time that I've completed an offer (make 3 purchases, get $10 back, if you use Google Pay) and they have repeatedly denied that I did, even though I literally have the email screenshots.
