American Airlines is in the process of merging with US Airways. This merger is expected to close in the third quarter of 2013.

@JakobOlling @AmericanAir That’s awful. I was rerouted from Dallas from my original destination along with many others so that doesn’t surprise me. I do consider myself lucky hearing that. I just feel like there needs to be a better approach to customer service. And AA must stop booking tight connections.

Just to let everyone know @AmericanAir platinum benefits are a scam. They say you get free premium seats and upgrade requests but when your upgrade request is added to your trip it cancels your seats and doesn’t tell you leaving you with shit seats once you find out.
