So this happened this morning. @AlaskaAir originally upgraded me yesterday from premium to first class. I am then downgraded as I walk to the gate and no longer have my premium seat as an option nor the food I pre-ordered. My flight is 6 hours and this is a huge inconvenience.

Very disappointing that @AlaskaAir customer service has gone downhill from years past. The airline has changed a lot and is not willing to make exceptions for loyal customers in emergency situations. @seattletimes @thepointsguy

so i spent an hour on the phone last night w @AlaskaAir correcting their system error. got it ironed out until boarding when they inexplicably bumped our seats to the plane’s last row. have talked to four agents who simply can’t help. word of the year is “enshittification” btw

@AlaskaAir your online change reservation is not working. Mobile and Web are both down for that functionality. Can you fix that today please?

@AlaskaAir - We are now at 5 days of the online change reservations being down. Are you going to bother to fix this or make everyone call in everytime we need a change. Because I love spending 2 hours on the phone for something that takes 5 minutes online

Sadly, my grandfather has passed away and our worlds have all been turned upside down. @AlaskaAir will not make an exception for me and his great grandkids to change my flight to one day earlier. Very unfortunate and horrible customer service. #alaskaair #ripPapou #1939-2024Related Services
