@Telstra What if you lose your phone or it's damaged when overseas? There may be no way to get to banking or email or travel docs without the text confirmation of identity. Even Telstra texts a code. It's a crazy policy clearly not thought through properly.

@Telstra If past experience with you has taught me anything, nothing ever gets resolved. Same issues in Paraburdoo, Halls Creek and many other regional towns I have worked at. Once you are further than 2km from the tower, and signal quality degraded.

@Telstra One of the people on the phone overcharged me on my contract and I've been trying to get it cancelled. Been well over 6 hours of calls/wait time and having to repeat the problem several times to different Telstra reps.

@freocookster @Telstra Nobody in nedlands wanted phone towers near their homes ??? There’s so many “dark” spots in our cities - in between south perth and Como everything drops out - on the road area between Elizabeth quay and the freeway / convention centre - just too much concrete.

@Telstra I understand all that. I have a 5G phone which an hour out of Perth gets 4G at best but the majority of the time is reliant on 3G. How are we going to survive fire and storms etc with no comms.
