@ab_cd_goldfish @pinelime85 @Peter_Fitz Panels and batteries were $20k after rebate. We took a low interest green loan over 10 years and we are paying back what we would have been paying with electricity. We could have brought a new car, but the solar power has been invaluable, especially with the power outages.

@MeowsticSylveon Itâs usually neutral but there are times when weather decides to go crazy on us. The last incident we have whilst on extreme weather, is power outage to over half a million households across Victoria. And thanks to that⊠I couldnât go to the train to my TAFE!

@ronInBendigo There was funding to underground power lines post 2009 Fires in the affected area. The high voltage line in our street was undergrounded. We still get outages.

Hi @3AW693, @TomElliott3AW, The minister cynically talks about outages in Victoria's regional areas, knowing Melbournians will reacts less to that. What she avoided mentioning is that there are suburbs of Melbourne (e.g. Ferntree Gully) that are still without power & NBN.
