Ukraine's nuclear energy agency Energoatom has started building reactor units 5 and 6 at the Khmelnytskyi Nuclear Power Plant using U.S. technology that would help prevent power outages in case of Russian attacks, Energoatom's press service said on April 15.
In all #Ukraine's regions, which were affected by #Russia's largest attack on the energy system, #electricity supply of critical infrastructure was completely restored. Schedules of hourly power outages are valid only in the #Kharkiv & #Odesa regions, which were affected the most
@rafaelmgrossi According to @rafaelmgrossi, in the past 18 months, #ZaporizhzhiaNPP occupied by #Russia has experienced 8 off-site power outages, forcing #ZNPP to rely on emergency diesel generators: "This is an unprecedented situation in the history of #nuclear power, & it isn't sustainable."
