@LightsOutLinds Enjoy it, Linds. I did it in the bushland two weeks ago, before the rain came down. Aussie rain is brutal it's responsible for the power outage. The best thing was hearing Kookaburra laughing it was worth it.

Thank you. I've been harping on about that for weeks. If there's a major power outage, what the bloody hell are you all going to do without your idiot phones when you can't use them to make purchases? And no debit cards either? I love it. Perfect example of stupidity.

@rachelbaxendale Did any of you fools actually look at what caused the outage? All this Coal fire plant. It was a structural engineering fault, power lines collapsed. Guess they weren't up to standards, but hay Vic went cheap.

@TennantReed You forgot: - Ukraine plus scarcity from outages and floods - low gas prices = low wholesale prices eg COVID - increasing RE output since 2015 does not correlate with lower prices - by 2009 new coal and gas power stations in QLD

@pully8 @Aaronsmith333 You do realise that outages are generally linked to the distribution network which is completely separate to the generation network? SA still producing power even if there is no power at your home
