@wordpressdotcom is anyone there to respond to an issue? - starting today,all my work from the last 9 months, hundreds of hours, thousands of embedded pics is all of sudden gone. Last August a change was made and I had to switch all urls to end with raw=1. Now every embed gone.

It's quite annoying that unlike any decent professional organisation, @wordpressdotcom refuses to have a proper customer support channel even for paid customers. Rather they would kick customer to their dumb AI bots and forums than giving any ticket number or taking any action

Just wanted to write a new blog post (on @elixirlang gotchas), then realized that on @wordpressdotcom the @github gist embeds seem not to show syntax highlighting for most of the time any more. Syntax highlighting is essential. No other support. Might finally be time to switch

@MikeHindle @wordpressdotcom It does have some interesting improvements and Calypso—the former editor—was a really good alternative to the WordPress admin area. The support isn’t brilliant though, which lets it down a little.
