@sweetsmithie01 @EntergyNOLA @Entergy Thanks. I inquired about checking the meter myself. The lady said there was no issue to which I responded “$850 for 2months when we have a mortgage is indeed an issue.” We’re not using electricity throughout the house.

Every time I look at my power bill I get mad. Nola is the only place that allows monopolized electricity. And @entergy what in the ACTUAL FAWK IS A “street use franchise fee”??!

@bj_blunt @Entergy Yes they are trying to mislead customers into urging council to allow them to raise rates after it was discovered they paid actors to get council to vote for the plant in NO East a few years ago.
