@cogeco service down again. At this point it’s a daily issue. Unacceptable at the prices we are paying for services.

@calderdotio @DomRichard1988 @cogeco @cogecohelps get a short one if anything and see if that fixes it. but they also have 40 foot cat-6 that are flat. and you can hide behind the base board if needed.

@calderdotio @DomRichard1988 @cogeco @cogecohelps look into getting a cat6 atleast. has better tranfer rates. amazon has some cheap long ones if needed. get a new modem. but also check if there is any kinks or breaks in the cord. i had a break in mine and it limited my speeds. but on their end said it was fine.

@canadian_royal1 @cogeco I'm having internet issues in Oakville too. I thought it was a modem problem, so I got it replaced at the store, worked for a few hours, and am now back to square one. The website keeps saying there are no outages in my area. grr, really annoying @cogeco

@calderdotio @DomRichard1988 @cogeco @cogecohelps The cat 5 is usually the bare minimum required for Hosted VoIP. The number designation describes how much data the cable can handle: the cat 5 tops out at 10/100 Mbps speeds at up to 100 MHz bandwidth, the cat 5e at 1000 Mbps speeds, and cat 6 at 10 gigabits for up to 250 MHz.

@cogeco I was told it would take 3 days to get a tech to come restore it internet connection. My kids do online school and now no school tomorrow. Thanks a lot. Brutal tech support.
