On reaching the gate, we were told our tickets were issued to someone else as the flight was overbooked. How can @British_Airways overbook and not allocate our seats for which we booked tickets ago. I find this ridiculous.

.@British_Airways so your telephone service desk doesn't open till 8am, your website won't allow me to press the "pay now" button so instead @AerLingus get to charge €100 extra to book the same flight from ticket desk... #fleeced

@British_Airways If I’ve booked and ticketed DUB-BHX on EI metal with you as a codeshare, can I access the lounge to wait? Flying into DUB with you in Club Europe/Silver member & departing DUB on a separate ticket, but booked with you on Aer Lingus aircraft. Long layover. Ta!
