@dylanznoble @RepMoulton @RepDelBene @RepAOC @USHSR @HSRail @RailPassengers @UrbanistOrg @urbaninstitute @BrookingsMetro @Amtrak @USDOT The math is more favorable with a longer trip (Indianapolis to Kansas City, ~9 hours, two express trips with a stop in St. Louis.) But then we get to the other issue: we're assuming this specific mostly straight line rail exists.
