@1Password @GoodnotesApp @mindnode @weareFitXR This bait and switch scheme does not allow users to roll-back properly and keep their originally perpetual version, but overrides it with a new version that constantly nags you into buying their subscription. It should be frowned upon, not celebrated.

@Devsohib @cszhu @1Password @StrongboxSafe I’ve been an active advocate for 1Password from Version 1 to 4 and 6 to 7. But with 8 and the current scheme, they simply dropped the ball and are everything but trustworthy. They have good marketing and everything looks polished. But the way they treated 1.x users… Nope.
