@MikeHindle@wordpressdotcom It does have some interesting improvements and Calypso—the former editor—was a really good alternative to the WordPress admin area. The support isn’t brilliant though, which lets it down a little.
@wordpressdotcom Yes. @jetpack stats WERE great. However, they now deem everyone to be a commercial enterprise and want to charge.
Wait. You're AI, aren't you? You got us there.
@roman76301473@WebsiteAI_ERC@wordpressdotcom A really nice and healthy consolidation and redistribution at $WEBAI. Increase your bad and wait for the rocket to start flying again
@arniepalmer@Victoriusss@squarespace@wordpressdotcom Cool solution. Going to give it a try.
I think the issue is that this relies on another platform (WordPress dot com), and it doesn't include the entire media library (only attachments to posts).
@wordpressdotcom OK, but this is a Desktop App issue. You may need Jetpack to work with it. But I'm not a mind reader. I would never know to look in the Jetpack guide for errors I'm having with the Desktop App.
Honestly, this product seems like an unsupported afterthought, or a Beta product.
@wordpressdotcom I tried the Desktop app.
Couldn't get it to work.
Kept getting a "Please check your Primary Site's Jetpack connection" even though I activated and connected Jetpack. Googled around some, and no luck.
And there's not really a good guide to setting it up.
@slaFFik@photomatt@wordpressdotcom Tried playing around with it. Couldn't get it to work.
