@nate_zec What is Signal's Sealed Sender? It's somewhat akin to a single hop "mixnet" and it's the reason that @mer__edith claims that @signalapp cannot learn who is talking to who which is false. A FISA court order will break all those assumptions.

@paulisick @signalapp Interesting idea, I don't count that in quite the same area as antivirus & password managers since messaging a bit of a different use cases, more similar to duckduckgo where it's consumer privacy focused but not as security led

@DeeperThrill @signalapp I am as well, but that story was from a year or two ago when he was still with Fox FBI was able to break into the San Bernardino shooters iPhones back in 2015 Not surprised a collection of much more intelligent people can break into an encrypted app
