@jocewest @XcelEnergyCO In that same instance, public knew the same thing Xcel did about the weather, high winds usually cause power outages. The weather is also unpredictable to a degree and I think they did good by mitigating a serious fire risk once they realize it posed an actual threat. People…

@jcsbts These are not considered rolling outages. The duration will last into at least noon tomorrow until wind and fire risk subside, and we are able to physically inspect the power lines to ensure public safety.
