@sinanisler @SlackHQ Interesting, maybe I will do that at some point because it is annoying only having 90 days history, but not worth paying $2k/year for (which is what paid Slack would cost with our current team size).

@KatieKeithBarn2 @SlackHQ You could also try out something like @Mattermost or @element_hq . They're both open source and very slack-like...without the billing confusion.

I just discovered that if you're on the free @SlackHQ plan then by default, ANY member can sign up for a free trial which will then turn into a paid plan
