@rhett_carlson @Amtrak Absolutely. Tickets are around $70. It’s shorter/easier than driving, much cheaper than flying (most of the time), and drops you right at the city centers! In my experience, the ridership between the cities seems quite high, but always room to grow! I try hard to promote it :)

But the pro prejudice problems are far deeper in Maine.

@railroadworkers @POTUS @Amtrak Biden showed his hand a year and a half ago when he shot down railroaders contract asks plus paid sick time and chose to side with the class 1’s corporate suggested contract instead. I’ll never trust that SOB ever again.

@AlexEdgerton So many ways you could take it. I think any cost savings vs driving go away after >1 person. I hope @Amtrak is taking it all into account.
