If this is implemented, suddenly API and more will be changed. @googleanalytics, don't break something that isn't broken, spend your time on making "GA4 for Poor" redundant instead.

Instead of link_id, link_text etc., @googleanalytics should instead have chosen element_id, element_text etc. since they works across Event's. Ex. the recommendation is to register a form_id Custom Dimension. element_id had solved this.
