GoDaddy currently has a MAJOR issue where you'll bulk-search domains (particularly .ai), it says they're available... great! ...then only after you go through the checkout process does it turn out that no, they aren't actually available at all.

@twitbangs Yes, I like porkbun over the other 2 we use. GoDaddy's prices never made sense to us, but, customers fell for it, so, that's how capitalism works. What I saved with #cosmotown paid for more than a few dozen add'l domains.

@spaceship How is user management in your platform? Can I have multiple owners for a single domain? I'm trying to avoid having a headless/serviceaccount/single owner as I normally do in a service like GoDaddy. Also, does your auth support MFA?

Google transferred my domains to squarespace today. Loved the google UI and how easy it is to use. I'll bulk transfer my portfolio out of Squarespace to either namecheap or godaddy. Godaddys been pretty shit recently.

@GodlyDomains @loganflatt @AGreatDomain @kreativedomainz @GoDaddy By the end of Q1, 2026, it'd be surprising if DAN continues to exist. Their landers may live on, showing only GoDaddy's name. DAN listings not already in Afternic will likely be shifted to their own, new Afternic account for each seller, rather than to sellers' existing accounts.

@NickRodriguez00 I think it depends more on your smtp host (where it’s sent from) than the domain itself. When I used GoDaddy’s mail servers I got flagged as spam a lot. Switching to a paid service, while not ideal, helped me out.
