Absolutely loving #EliteDangerous right now, all the ARX and pre-built ships controversy aside, there's only one thing that bothers the hell out of me with Odyssey, and that's the shadow system. It's the worst that its ever been, and shadows have never been very good in Odyssey.
What good are notebooks?
@cmdrgarud @AnthorNet @EliteDangerous @frontierdev @DavidBraben Right, but other games do old-fashioned things like give you in-game information in the goddam game. A lot of the recent complaining is without foundation but this one's very valid. Although... PP 2.0 does seem to take this gap into account for the first time in 10 years.

@CelticGundam @EliteDangerous Quit then. It’s not pay to win at all. Have you seen the two examples they provided? It’s pay for a very slight boost for a new player, or a very slight boost to a veteran player who wants to engineer it heavily after. This pay to win shit is utter bollocks.

@ltpsych @EliteDangerous @frontierdev I'm in absolute awe of what Frontier achieved here, no pre recorded cut scene, no waiting for the weekly tick or a patch to see results, all live and absolutely spectacular, it was magic. Can't wait to see what secrets lies within the wreckage.
I have an XBox Series X, and a PS5. And now that @EliteDangerous has been abandoned for consoles, I'm still waiting for somebody to release a game that can hold my attention and doesn't bore me. (Starfield - your terrible characters and lack of piloting didn't endear you to me.)
