This is what happens when you shut down regional banks We live in a small country town My daughter (17) is being charged TAX on her savings account @ato_gov_au cause the @CommBank decided to shit our local branch By the time we can get 1hr drive to the nearest branch its closed

@CommBank How long should it take for my CBA account to receive $500 from someone else’s CBA account? They’ve transferred it to me 23/1/2024 5:56pm but I have yet to receive it. Also checked correct BSB and acct number. They’ve transferred me money in the past with no delay.

@SewerRatt64 @twtrrr @ShiannonC @CommBank Yep, I think this is fairly accurate. The lady, no matter how IT savvy she is, probably accepted a link or SMS and inadvertently downloaded something, OR, connected to a phishing site that looks like @CommBank and logged in. It’s easy to do.

I love how @CommBank are pushing everyone online with next to branches open - yet none of the online functionalities actually work. Trying to apply for a travel card over the last 3 weeks and continually states the website is down. Go into a branch? "Do it online" I get told.
