Cloudflare operates as a content delivery network and distributed DNS (domain name server). Its services protect website owners from peak loads, comment spam attacks and DDos (distributed denial of service) attacks.
@meowkoteeq@Cloudflare You can’t do it with Google Workspaces either. And it’s worse: Google forces you to set a TTL of 1 day for your DNS records that point to Google, too.
(I found out the hard way through an incompetent employer I had who insisted on using it against my strong recommendations)
