@AmericanExpress I am extremely disappointed in Amex and will never deal with you again. Donāt bother to respond with your standard note about calling in. You cancelled my card after 19 years with no warning because I hadnāt used it in a year.

@AmericanExpress But there has to be someone up a chain who can bypass a computer in the name of customer service at @AmericanExpress. Everyone was also very nice until the last person I spoke to, who said that it was their policy to never adjust an interest charge. Which had me wonderingā¦

I wanted help from @AmericanExpress with my interest charge. They kept saying they wanted to help and trying, but the computer would not let them. I understand the limitations of access at different levelsābut ultimately people do control computers still (watching you, AI) andā¦
