@mattzcarey @awscloud @jxnlco @AnthropicAI Why would you want to do this? If you need to use some other methods from the runtime SDK or the base bedrock SDK now you have two different libs in charge of requests. That's just begging for inconsistencies in the call stack and error handling.

@awscloud @AWSSupport are there issues with API Gateway? Every single service we host through there is returning sporadic 500 error. Including simply serving documents from S3. Started happening around 5pm EST.

If price is an issue, @Apple should move to Cloudflare R2 instead of @awscloud S3. Storage pricing has gone down over the years but we're still paying Pre-Covid prices.
