@stijnhommes @yawaramin @Z796438458308 @1Password it’s roughly the same security as a random password, and that is your own personal choice to use a hardware bound key. synced platform authenticators are freely and widely available if you want them to work immediately. you made a choice and are now complaining about it.

@yawaramin @CubicleApril @Z796438458308 @1Password When I switch phones, my password remains the same and I can access an account immediately. Passkeys just throw up another roadblock with NO added benefit to me. I shouldn't have to sign up again and artificially increase the user count on the site just because I changed device.
