@DreamFirms @Xero @freshbooks I run my accounting business on @xero - I like to eat what I'm serving. Pros - it's a continual bank reconciliation. You can run discrete reconciliation reports. Account numbers are required. Xero parters for functionality rather than tries to make itself one stop shopping.

@DreamFirms @Xero @freshbooks Xero is great! It's the go to right now for many former Intuit users and is highly rated. Freshbooks is like a bank register. It's not a full-cycle accounting system. Wave Apps is good too but only for service-based businesses without inventory. Wave offers limited reporting.

@DreamFirms @Xero @freshbooks Come to the blue side! If you don't use much bill pay *and* don't rely on external apps for billing, FreshBooks. It's just such a joy to use. If you're heavy on process and approvals, especially for bill pay, and/or need many many integrations, Xero is the choice.

@MagisterTax @DreamFirms @Xero @freshbooks Happy to have the convo. FreshBooks shines brightest when service providers are using it to send INVOICES. Advanced invoices, like with billable expenses added and time tracked per project. Things like that. That is what is was built for. And it is certainly constantly building.
