@XcelEnergyMN @tall_n_rich Nobody comes to read our meter currently. How are we getting billed? By the way, my doggies don’t like strangers.

@XcelEnergyMN @nathanmhansen @XcelEnergyMN why are you switching my current meter that you read remotely? I have no interest in your "Smart" meter. Instead you are charging me a non-compliance fee every month and saying I need a new non-transmitting meter that you'll have to "read manually". Shame on you!

@KillionTra69786 @nathanmhansen @XcelEnergyMN They chose Verizon amongst the three national networks because it isn't cost effective for them to deploy their own 4G/5G macro network. Data over power line is possible, but doesn't give the same level of monitoring and control as an Out-Of-Band network control plane provides.

@XcelEnergyMN @nathanmhansen LIARS Its not in the form of a credit on your bill, its an estimate of $10 saving while they control your switch "If you are eligible, you will save $10 on your June through September electric energy charges each year you participate in the Saver's Switch program."

@nathanmhansen @XcelEnergyMN Customer service told me there is no longer a credit for energy saver switch. I made them come out and remove it last summer.

@XcelEnergyMN @nathanmhansen That's bullshit. I had my energy switch removed after 25 yrs last summer after the customer service rep admitted there is no incentive or credit on your energy bill. Post the policy @XcelEnergyMN I'll wait right here

@nathanmhansen @XcelEnergyMN Electric companies have been shutting off your AC for over a decade now. Save money on bill by agreeing to partake in peak demand program. AC is shut off via short periods of time. I had it for years out in Buffalo, MN. Absolutely no notice in cooling change in house.

@XcelEnergyMN @nathanmhansen Why the extra monthly charge?

@XcelEnergyMN @nathanmhansen Because the only data about me that the electric company needs is name, payment method, amount of power used per month. Not what times of day my power is used & I feel this will be soon used to up the price for what you like to refer to as "Peak" hours.
