@lordofmanytacos @xcelenergy They aight bear. I have no complaints with them thus far. The rates are a small fraction of what we paid pge and I think we've lost power maybe twice in 18 or so months. We'd get shut off at least 2x/mo back home with those Power safety shut downs they were doing.

@jeremycrusher @steved2000 @GovTimWalz @XcelEnergyMN Yep, thatā€™s how the green energy scam works. All while the peasants go bankrupt and need to beg the government for assistance.

@XcelEnergyMN I'm not looking forward to sitting in the dark freezing when the grid can't reliably supply energy to my home. My hubby worked for you for almost 30 years when your concern was cheap reliable energy. Disappointed in you.

@Avalanche @xcelenergy @RACH_TOS Xcel has 1.6mil customers in Colorado. Average bill is around $150ish. Do the math, $220mil/month they bring in....They could do better.

@GopherHole @GeneralMills @BestBuy @Target @HormelFoods @3M @UHC @usbank @XcelEnergyMN @ameriprise @Ecolab The fact that this is the discussion relating to college sports makes me puke. NIL and instant transfers is destroying the sport. Itā€™s a total shit show and will get way worse. In 10 years, without regulation, 10 colleges will dominate all of the major sports.

@GopherHole @GeneralMills @BestBuy @Target @HormelFoods @3M @UHC @usbank @XcelEnergyMN @ameriprise @Ecolab Meh - when you look at the revenue-generating sports at the U of M, and then look at the clowns theyā€™ve hired to coach these teams, the big companies know that they could flush their money down a huge toilet and get the same result.

@GopherHole @GeneralMills @BestBuy @Target @HormelFoods @3M @UHC @usbank @XcelEnergyMN @ameriprise @Ecolab Biggest issue I see is that most these companies are run by people that probably didnā€™t go Minnesota. So they arenā€™t inclined to donating to the university. And too many pro teams hurts big time

@logoffnow @nathanmhansen @XcelEnergyMN Except what happens when Verizon goes down? Is this reliable?

@johnerent @nathanmhansen @KarmaGatzy @XcelEnergyMN I havenā€™t been insisting that this switch has to do with the meter lol OP made that claim, up to him to clarifying how that would occur(meter ā€”> remote override?). I saw it as him complaining about Xcel meters, & saying it could be comparable to the saver switches at some point.

@johnerent @nathanmhansen @KarmaGatzy @XcelEnergyMN The article discusses smart thermostats and an optional remote feature. Where does it discuss wiring a switch to your AC power supply? What is needed to be physically installed? you literally just opt into a program that grants them permission to utilize this feature.
