@CoinbaseDuck @Visa Yeah I think that's true, but I think the network effects they have will prevent that from happening. I think the most likely outcome is that they adopt blockchain rails and transact value using stablecoins. That would reduce their costs and allow network fees to come down.…

@frogleader_eth @mdudas @Visa @solana I have a need to send USDT weekly. From the exchange I use, I can send it for $8 on Ethereum or $1 on Polygon/Tron. Why would I send it on Ethereum? This doesn't mirror onchain fees, but the same factor applies. Why would I send it on Ethereum vs. a cheaper chain?
