@jamescutlan87@Marathon_Mcr@UKRunChat@MaurtenOfficial@Nike@stancesocks_sa@COROSGlobal@Strava I’d use the summer to sharpen your speed at the shorter distances; get those 5K and 10K times down a little, make 6:05 pace feel as easy as possible.
There’s only so much volume or marathon specific pace can do, but normalising the body to 5:20-5:25 pace will do you wonders.
@joannasbarlow@Strava Oh finally somebody speaks a truth out… maybe just maybe they should ask A whether you’d like this as your opening front screen B that what your training for ie taper, down week, injured etc C honestly who fucking cares !!
I pay for, enjoy, and recommend @Strava and @Garmin. Now, they’re no longer syncing and the “solution” is to go to a laptop after each run, download a GPX file from Garmin, and upload it into my Strava account. That’s pretty bold when annual rates are increasing. @StravaSupport
