Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited, or Jio, is an LTE mobile network operator in India. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Reliance Industries headquartered in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra that provides wireless 4G LTE service network and is the only 'VoLTE-only' operator in the country which lacks legacy network support of 2G and 3G, with coverage across all 22 telecom circles in India.

@magudesh96 @reliancejio Jio wants to capture the 2G phones customers to convert them as jioBharat/jio phone users. So they're urging the government to shutdown 2/3G. But as said before, When you're at basement or a rural forest, you'll get only 2G and not 4G or 5G. So it's a problem for everyone.
