WHAT! STAGE 16 LOADSHEDDING! You'd better believe it. In SA's Worst-Run Province, North West, daily power blackouts range between 14 - 24 hours. And that is over & above loadshedding. All the outages are due to @Eskom_SA policy NOT to conduct any preventative maintenance.

@TerraOrBust Sound move in my mind and something factories did for a long time prior to a National Grid…..#NetZero threatens continuity of the power levels that heavy engineering requires with potential Grid outages, we’ll see more of this I’m sure.

@mac_puck @JunkScience In US that may be right, but in the UK it's pretty different. We've had warning of possible power outages for some time. We don't have reliable national power to support millions of EV's. UK supply last 12 months 33.6% from Wind 35.4% from Gas 13.1% from NuclearRelated Services
