@Astro_Eggcelent Okay new thread cuz the other one is messy, I have a question. What is the nature of the power outage? It affects all vehicles and devices that are currently manufactured, does this include EMP hardened systems? If I build a new computer from scratch, will it function?

@dschwa8059 @mikeirons12 You aren't. The 40th was what got me into classical music when I first listened to it as a teenager during a power outage during a thunderstorm. It's been my favorite since.

Power outage for ~15 min in the past 30 min. Marthatopia’s PowerWall kicked in, tho unusually it took several min to do so. SDGE email says Nestor, San Ysidro & Otay Mesa affected. We’re in IB, don’t know if SDGE incl IB w/ Nestor or we’re on a different circuit fr rest of IB.

@xrayca @kaitlancollins I was wondering that too. These “people” now exist and can’t be disposed of or transplanted. They need special conditions in order to survive. Are these storage facilities required to maintain them forever? What happens if there is a power outage or fire? Is it homicide?

Nothing to send out elected officials to Cabo but enough to have to replace the food in our refrigerators. Where I am in the North Bay we’ve been very lucky. Some fallen fences and a few hours without electricity.

My 3yo had a hard time grasping the power outage this afternoon. We went through the house to try all the switches and remotes. He explained clearly which switches go to which lights. To *his* surprise, none of them were working, but was especially shocked about the fridge light.
