@daisyaburr Hi! There are currently 12,211 outages in the Portland area. At our peak we had 188,000 and have restored almost 56,000 customers since 10am. We are working as fast and as safe as we can to make repairs and restore power. We apologize for any inconvenience. If you haven’t 1/2
5) All this added up to an additional 0.1” of ice. Which isn’t much. But it’s the difference between widespread power outages and just a slippery coating.
The @cmpco outage list has gone down by a few thousand but still 1 in 4 CMP customers is without power. I’m most concerned right now about my food in the fridge become inedible
@realjuliasong I love the CPS emails everytime a storm passes within 100m about possiboe power outages. Youd think we would have this problem solved by now
@LandonLramsey00 We understand that loss of power can impact the lives of our customers. These upgrades to our system will help it withstand changing weather patterns that increasingly cause outages. - Chris

@DonSinger17@KATUNews I own an electric Kona. My car was fully charged before the week-long ice storm. We were stuck in place bc of fallen trees, power outage, etc. And my Kona was still fully charged a week later. So, no problem.
