Might not have the patience to play the rest of #southpark #fracturedbutwhole because #uplay and #ubisoft are pieces of shit. Seriously? Can't connect? What is the point of having it on Steam if I have to log in and connect to ANOTHER service?

I refuse to play Ubisoft games for this reason. Also Uplay is such a fucking piece of shit launcher. Worse than EGS if that’s possible.

@flatpancakesss There's Steam that provides everything you'd expect. Epic and Battlenet which do not, Uplay and EA which are only launchers, and the steaming pile of shit that is the Microsoft store that can't even uninstall a game correctly

@DerpedCrusader I should have, cause bruh: -Ships with an old Uplay that doesn't know it's old so it acts surprised when the server rejects login. -You gotta remember the useless Uplay account login info. -No proper modern controller support without manually installing xbox360ce. -Ubisoft.

@IngameHector @cotizcesar Other platforms have a bad track record of security breaches about payment info (egs, Uplay, ea/origin), and in the cases of UPlay and EA you'll often end up with old games not even working properly because they didn't put in the effort to make them work with their new launcher.

@LshimazakiJP @ShanWinTheGod @IngameHector Yes, Steam is best for this. PS store has already shown they will revoke licenses with Stellar Blade Demo being removed from your account when it was accidentally released. Uplay also revoked the Crew licenses

@macishish @totallynotretro @aggressa You have to download Origin/Uplay to even play newer EA/Ubisoft titles. They came back to Steam because their services suck and even then it doesn't stop them entirely from selling games exclusive to their platform. Go ahead, try to find Star Wars Outlaws, or AC Mirage on Steam.
