@anthonyspiteri @NBN_Australia Ouch! It's at least a little better here. Typically you'd see 1/3 upload speeds for most residential packages. 900/300 here. To go 900/900 I'd need to opt for their 'business' package at 2.5x the cost.

@anthonyspiteri @NBN_Australia it seems everywhere there's the hope to sell a B2B contract and "residential users only care about watching YouTube". LATAM is the same.

@JimPine8 @NBN_Australia I'd love 100/100. That's up to 3 TVs playing 4k, a couple video calls and sending files. Asynchronous is just good for streaming companies, synchronous means small business can compete.

@numloxx @NBN_Australia The notifications system is terrible, we never got notified about our upgrade just saw the people on the street digging and made calls to arrange our upgrade.

@NBN_Australia @nokia Yeah, I still think best options is the Nokia 25G-PON since it looks to be the same power connector as the G-PON NTD in use today. But thats just my thoughts. Hopefully they offer the new plans and take the on demand approach to upgrading the NTD's

@NBN_Australia @nokia This is amazing! Now let's add a couple of meters of old telephone copper wire to the chain, sure it won't hurt

Whilst @NBN_Australia shows off 83Gbps download speeds in a trial, here in North Katoomba we are stuck with painfully slow NBN with node NBN which is some distance from our house. Any idea when we’re getting fibre to the kerb team NBN?

@techAU Again @NBN_Australia continues with the culture to be against upload speed, even with this demonstration they did not mention what was the upload speed! pathetic everytime they post something like that they are upsetting half of australia the customers who still stuck on copper
