@BirnoOCE @exetel I'm sure the devs are working really hard and also have feelings

@CrStuartJames @fictillius @exetel @NBN_Australia So not only have you piled on Exetel for an nbn product decision, and complained they don't have faster upload speeds when they do, you've doubled down and praised Kogan for having a network so shitty their 1000Mbps product only averages 250mbps

@BirnoOCE @exetel So so what we do is give you speed boosts which can boost your internet to what speed it is suppose to be! Only 5 days a month you get this, otherwise no soup for you.

@CrStuartJames @exetel @NBN_Australia That’s the 1000/50 plan

@CrStuartJames @exetel @NBN_Australia ISPs have no control over the speed of the plans they offer, these are set by NBN at the wholesale level.

I also found Superloop to have poor speeds too, but I can't vouch if that was the norm or not for them. These poor speeds render the 'speed boost' function as useless, because I could rarely hit the speed I paid for let alone the increased speeds. I'm done, @exetel @superloopau

I also have my phone account with @exetel, which will now also move on. This is from a customer who actively recommended the service to others, but now I will actively advise against. Moreover, Exetel used to have great, consistent speeds, but that has not been the case lately.

Then @exetel @superloopau have the audacity to care about Financial Hardship. Maybe don't charge $10 for an honest mistake? Not only this, but the Superloop bill was for a mere $2. Why I have a $2 bill is beyond me. This is emboldened me to move on, with disgust.

Yes, it's in their TOS, but please, you are the same company and you've just aggrieved me through both of them. Now I've changed credit cards, and forgive me for it passing my mind, but I didn't change those deets with @superloopau and @exetel. Cue $10 dishonour fee from both.

There's been no better example of corporate greed driving out a customer than Superloop (@superloopau) and Exetel (@exetel), which are owned by the same entity. I was a happy customer, who recently switched between the two only to be charged twice by each company due to their TOS
