@EliteDangerous "Full patch notes will be available at release" Server downtime on Patch Note Day should be spent reading, re-reading, re-re-reading and over analysing the notes and witty asides. What are we meant to do on a bright and warm spring day such as today?

If you think you're about to get hit by a shutdown field in your SRV (and since SRVs inherently lack defenses against them), try hitting the handbrake and disembarking. They can shut your car down, but not you!
