@LoViLu @Xfinity It has taken me and my old person brain two years to sort out how all this works. It kills me that I cannot get a basic cable plan without being charged an xtra 50.00/monthly for local broadcast fees and what not. I can download 11Alive app on my tv and see the local news.

@LoViLu @Xfinity I have Hulu. Netflix, Peacock, Paramount+, etc. These are separate from cable. Downloaded on my smart tv and pay a monthly bill for these. So I don't want to also pay for cable for the same shows.

@LoViLu @Xfinity Yes, they do. Xfinity Stream app wont work probably because that is where the cable comes through. Any app I access through that stream app might not work. But the individual apps, downloaded on and access thru my smart tv are separate from cable apps. You just need internet.

Since @xfinity cable pricing is high & redundant, I started using lists on the various apps. Deleting shows from DVR sch, then go 2 app & save that show n my lists. I am going to have 2 drop cable. Just want 2 make sure I mark where all my shows R 1st.
